His latest album was huge for me in 2014. I really felt it should have been more well recognized with all the year-end lists. GREAT great record.

Very great. I spoke with Tim after his last set in LA and he said the next album was going to be 'weird'. I'm not sure if he's recorded or recording it but it does look like he's been in the studio recording with Cate Le Bon (current WF guitarist) before their current EU tour.

imagining Cate doing some back up vocals on a WF album sounds pretty awesome

here's the result of the Cate sessions.. looks like an LP & a single. Definitely seems weird. Will be interested to hear this

Single dropped today (digital only) http://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/20 ... on-holiday

As Hair noted early this really is pretty weird, I dig it though. Love Cate love WF.

Sadly underwhelming for me. Hopefully the album excites me more . . .

New song is alright, wish the WF presence were more noticeable! Will be curious to see whether the album is all Cate on vox or if there'll be more Tim throughout.

LP, 7" and shirt pre-orders are live at https://drinksband.bandcamp.com/album/h ... iday-album

Seems to be shipping from the UK though so pricey for now, I'm going to hold out hope that Birth Records release it within the U.S.

I think I read somewhere that they switch up instruments & what not quite a bit. & yea hopefully Birth gets this same kind of thing going for the US.

Pre-order now live at Origami, still holding out for a Birth PO though.

I was fortunate enough to hear this a little early the other day, definitely far stranger than anything Tim's done before. It's probably about a 60/40 split between Cate and Tim on vocals.

You know what's funny I remember a while back when they were in the studio Tim or Cate posted a picture of all the gear and a ton of drinks around... coffee water beer soda ect ect and now we have DRINKS.

I think Birth will be run through Mid Heaven.
