That would be Plan B.arewhyehen wrote:You better just sell your tickets to meAquamarine wrote:I did. Hoping I can actually go, because it seems there's something else going in Nashville that day/week, and hotel prices are through the roof. Maybe I can pitch a tent in the Walk of Fame park or something . .arewhyehen wrote:Who all got tickets for this?

Re: Death From Above 1979
Show postponed due to visa issues (along with three other shows on the tour):
As you surely know by now, we here at Third Man Records prefer to bring you only the best of news. Unfortunately, today we have some bad news. Our 7/16 show featuring Death From Above 1979 will not go on... at least not as scheduled. Due to circumstances beyond our or the band's control, the band will be postponing the first 4 of their July tour dates, and that, of course, includes ours.

If someone could please shoot me a text or PM when the "refunded tickets" drop, I'd really appreciate it. I really want to hit this make-up show.
Hey, it's just a fucking record. Chill.

I wanted to be there so bad. They put on such a good live show. I've never seen so much noise come from a two-pieceAquamarine wrote:Did anybody else from here go to this? Terrific show.

I was there. It was a great show. I'm not a mosher though, so that part surprised me. lol But they were on point and great overall. Loved that they did a few songs after they finished cutting the record.Aquamarine wrote:Did anybody else from here go to this? Terrific show.

You know... the other two-piece band. Make a lot of noise. Wear red, white and black only. Pretty popular.arewhyehen wrote:What? I stand by that statement.koala wrote:Ahem ahemarewhyehen wrote: I've never seen so much noise come from a two-piece

He said noise, not music.

Yeah, I was glad I wasn't in the line of fire for the moshing. But overall I loved the energy of the show and the crowd. Have to wonder what Jagger thought of it!

Haha, I am not sure if that was a positive comment on your part....but yeah, DFA and White Stripes are two very different bands. DFA is a very loud and intense band. They put on a great show.rsimms3 wrote:He said noise, not music.
