Why now ? Hope they remain strong friends.
I am going to Farm Aid in a few weeks where they both play with their bands. Neil usually comes out and plays guitar with her, so we will see if they still play together..

Also, the Bridge School benefit concert is coming up next month which they both put on together..I am STILL waiting on the lineup for that....contemplating going to that, depending on who Neil plays with this year...and who else is playing of course. If Buffalo Springfield or CSNY play (40th anniversary of their big NA tour, so its possible) then I will make the trek down...
I'd read somewhere that her band is no longer listed or Farm Aid.

Wow, I just looked and you are right. Raelyn Nelson Band is listed and I don't remember seeing them before. I wonder if they replaced her. It's Willie's granddaughter...

I am actually saddened that Pegi will not be playing the show now. I have already seen Willie and Jack and Neil this year so I was looking forward to seeing Pegi for the first time.

I read about that yesterday. Neil with an orchestra. Should be interesting for sure.

24 shows by this May. I think it is. 1 year or 24 shows - whichever comes first. So far I have used 9. 5 I've used and 4 coming up. The list is:

SANTANA
ELVIS COSTELLO
STEELY DAN
BECK
FIRST AID KIT
BROKEN BELLS
DBT
JERRY LEE LEWIS

Been great so far. I've gotten either center floor or center balcony Row 5 or 6. Great seats. The floor is awesome of course and the balcony is great sound quality.

Best thing I've won !

If you mean the benefit concert; that was my first question. the anouncement usually comes out this week. I have noticed that both Jack and Pearl Jam have a break in their schedules. No guesses as to who Neil will play with. But, Pegi is the backbone of the BSB; talk about awkward. I feel really bad for everyone close to them.

If you meant the school itself; I'm sure they will carry on.

as for bad shit: i suspect that 3 years of sobriety for Neil changed the dynamic of their relationship.

the only constant is change

I'm sure a lot has changed over the years. Being sober for one but damn I just wouldn't have figured on them divorcing.

The school will remain. If there is one thing they will agree on, it's their son Ben. They will both continue to help him and those like him. I meant the concert each year. I am waiting on the lineup and hope it's good...I may fly out there if CSNY or Buffalo Springfield play.

I find it so sad that Pegi dropped out of farm aid this year. She was one I was looking most forward to

First..the announcement SHOULD be today but who knows with all this mess. The tickets are supposed to go on sale this weekend so hmmm...

Second..there is a "new" song on his website. He's played it live a bunch of times but this is the official release for "who's going to stand up?"
