The ever-prolific Oh Sees are back with a new album this summer. It’s titled Smote Reverser, and it arrives August 17 via Castle Face. Listen to leadoff single “Overthrown” below, and check out its extremely metal cover artwork by illustrator Matt Stawicki.

Apparently Dwyer is calling the album much more progressive than recent albums despite "Overthrown". I'm cautiously excited now :D

hey swirl!! inspired by the swirl record labels (like grim) i started a record label a few years ago and have been putting out stuff (including the recent king gizzard 8-bit vinyl and NES cart)...
