Yeah. One of the few downsides of living in a town in which everyone knows good music is that things like this go really quickly... :(

Saw them in Baltimore last night after receiving Boys & Girls in the mail on Friday, so this has been a total Shakes weekend.

They are going to be so phenomenal as openers for Jack. I'm doubly eager for the NY shows now.
"And the message is clear: if we want Jack White as our hero, he will entertain, but not pander. We have to accept all his flaws, whims, caprices and manias as a critical, sometimes uncomfortable, part of the contract."

a surprisingly positive article about them from p4k:

didn't expect them to go for an album like this.

Man, I don't particularly love the stuff I've heard from them before this stream, but I'm loving this show so far!

There are so many threads for them wtf, clean that up mods lol. Well anyway I was at the show tn at Webster Hall, spoke with the whole band after there all super nice and you can really tell how excited and blown away they are themselves. I really don't think they anticipated the reception they're getting. They defiantly deserve it.

Not sure what toilet paper has to do with this, but just try being a bit gentler.

Why does everyone keep calling the numbered edition a test pressing?

because that's what it is? the record has no tracklist on the back of the sleeve, and the labels are solid white. No inserts or anything inside sleeve either.
