Wilco

Post by Stl_ben »

So evidently Wilco's new single from their own label has been released in 3 colors and not just the 2 that they had on their website. Anyone have a clear one or know where to get one reasonably priced?

ok no help yet but an update with a fourth color!
Black - Still available online and probably at your local record store.
Clear Blue - Online Preorder, limited, now sold out
Silver - Evidently UK only
Clear - Solid Sound edition, evidently only available at the Solid Sound Festival

Evidently 1000 silver, but some are still available at places like recordstore.co.uk

Never been a fan. Saw them live twice, just not for me but they have a shitload of fans. I tried. Saw the Heartless Bastards open for them years ago. I became a Heartless Bastards fan that day !

I was just having a conversation about how they can be either relatively uninspiring live or have you totally captivated from start to finish. While I was once a much bigger fan than now, I still appreciate the majority of their discography. A Ghost Is Born might never get old to me for it's post-punk/krautrock elements, and Sky Blue Sky for how much it reminds me of the album Time of The Last Persecution by Bill Fay

I tried real hard to like them. My brother is a big fan of theirs. Burned me a bunch of CD's. I can appreciate the tunes but just don't really do much for me.
Like you said though the two shows I saw the fans were big time. Into the band.
Can't like them all I guess. Most of my friends don't care for the heartless bastards either :-) different taste and music for everyone.

for someone that likes jack white, you're a pretty neutral dude when it come's to music. Aside from Jack white, what is your favorite steely dan record?
