Dancin' With Wolves - Feb. 25th. Burger Records.
Natural Child Announces New LP, Shares Song
Posted on December 4, 2013
Nashville’s only sons, Natural Child, are back with a brand spankin’ new long player called Dancin’ With Wolves (out Feb. 25, 2014 on Burger Records). They premiered the first track, “Saturday Night Blues,” from Dancin’ With Wolves earlier today. This is rock ‘n roll as God intended. Nothing is safe – consumer culture, race, sex, devil weed and life as a grown ass man. They’ve summoned the influence of acts such as The Rolling Stones, Canned Heat, Willie Nelson, JJ Cale and Waylon Jennings. Their peers have seen and heard the natural truth. Everyone from The Black Lips to The Strange Boys and Gap Dream to White Fang has covered Natural Child. Never ones to settle or rest on their laurels, Natural Child added pedal steel and Wurlitzer into the mix for Dancin’ With Wolves. Early next year, Natural Child will take their expanded lineup on the road with fellow rock outlaws Futurebirds.
DANCIN’ WITH WOLVES TRACKLIST:

How rare are the early 7"ers? Dunno how collectable they are, how expensive/inexpensive . . .
Any info would be greatly appreciated! I'm sorta ISO, meaning I'm not willing to spend big bucks, maybe just small-to-medium bucks.

I've heard pretty solid rumors of reissues coming eventually. unless you find a particularly good deal on those original45s, I wouldn't bitewoodisgood wrote:How rare are the early 7"ers? Dunno how collectable they are, how expensive/inexpensive . . .

btw, they are worth hearing. the songs are pretty comically genius, something they haven't done to such an extent since that era

Re: Natural Child
This is for the Natural Child collectors here on the Swirl . . .
What would you say is a fair price to pay for a purple For the Love of the Game? Someone is offering one to me but they want me to make an offer. I'm torn between the fact they're not exactly a "collectable" band (like Ty/JW/ etc.), but dang it supposedly only 61 exist.

Not a collectible band is a bullshit argument. There is no online ebay sale to base a price on. So, who knows. Make an offer.woodisgood wrote:This is for the Natural Child collectors here on the Swirl . . .

And another a few months ago went for $177. The guy I'm dealing with, it turns out, won't entertain anything less than $225-250. And that is way way too much for me to pay for this. Thanks, though.

Re: Natural Child
I bought one about a year ago for like $80-100 I think. It's been awhile and I failed to write it down.
There is a red one too !
They are very much a collected band.
You might try to contact JM on face book, if you know who I'm talking about. JM Mullins, I think he is on here as well. That's who I got mine from and he had at the time some good stuff Natural Child wise. I know he has stuff for sale on the Vinyl Emporium.
I have not kept up with the values but $200 sound high. Maybe not.
I think it's been done in black, red, and purple. I'm sure there are people on here with more knowledge of the collection than I.

Thanks for the info. Glad I bought it. It's the only copy of that record I own. It's hard to find in any color!Hans_ka wrote:Should be:Alabama Woody wrote:I bought one about a year ago for like $80-100 I think. It's been awhile and I failed to write it down.
