Looks like I missed the last Beck 2x12". Pretty bummed about that because I have the others.

I was pretty bummed as well.
As soon as I saw it was out of stock I ordered a copy of "I Won't Be Long" just in case.

Of course let's not forget to mention "Morning Phase", Beck's new album to be released in February!

He's doing a show at the LA Philharmonic on 11/24 with a bunch of special guests. Would be great if they added a matinee show that day, since I can't make the evening performance, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

For one night only, Beck, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conductor David Campbell and special guests will perform songs and stories inspired by Song Reader, Beck’s book of sheet music. The music will be complemented by personal stories narrated by special guests.

I think it's amazing the promo clip is vinyl-related . . .

I was sincerely hoping the image in recent posts was not the album art.
I like what we see above much, much better.

“It’s such a dispersal, making a song,” Beck says. “Hoping something works, or connects, somewhere, with somebody.” In conversation with Doug Aitken, the genre-hopping 43-year-old musician and producer likens songwriting to sculpture, calling it “just shaped chaos.” The interview is part of the Source, a series of candid video conversations with several dozen noteworthy figures about their creative processes, currently on view in a custom pavilion at the Sundance Film Festival.

Looks like Jack White was interviewed for this as well...

I think Jack's interview had been out for a while now.
I'll see if I can find it.
