They’ve yet to go into detail about the four further albums they’ve got planned, though Mackenzie does say they’ll include a record that follows the “trajectory” of Nonagon Infinity and a collaboration with some “jazz dudes”. If anyone can pull it off, it’ll be the hardest working band in psych. “The records already exist in my brain,” says Mackenzie, confidently. “It feels cool to announce that we’re going to do them because now it means we have to.”

I watched the the official video for Rattlesnake the other night, definitely looking forward to this one.

If they're putting out 5 total records next year that's one every two & a half months... If they stick to this pre-order pattern we'll be pre-ordering the next record before the one before it even comes out

This is insane, can anyone think of another band/musician who has generated this much output in one year?

I definitely can't think of another artist who can match King Gizzard on this one. I think Atlas Sound may have released a bunch of free albums / EPs at one point but they were all digital only and for the most part culled from outtakes and older recordings.

While we're at it, here's a new colour way for Mind Fuzz:

If it were straight up clear I might have been tempted but at this rate I think I'm going to stick with (1st) Flightless pressings for this band.

Hi all! I was just wondering if anybody knows the difference (if there even is one) between the Heavenly and ATO release of FMB? They look to be pretty similar.

Thanks in advance!

Official release date for FMB is tomorrow in Aus so maybe they'll announce the next one to coincide with that?

Another variant of FMB? Variant cover and banana yellow vinyl on their band camp. https://kinggizzard.bandcamp.com/album/ ... nal-banana

AHHH I can't wait for the next record to go up for pre-order. I keep checking flightless daily. I'm hooked.

It appears Pipe Eye and The Murlocs have both hinted at "big news" coming soon, maybe we'll see a drop for those 2 albums AND the next King Gizzard LP.

Also hoping they bring as much merch to the US as possible.

That would be pretty spectacular. I feel like they'll have t shirts and ATO merch in the US. That's how it was in their last tour, in NYC at least.
