Thought this deserved a thread of its own. Dan Auerbach's Keep It Hid release is in my top ten so I'm pretty ciced.

"Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys is embarking on another solo project, but this time he’s not recording under his own name. Auerbach’s new band is called the Arcs and will release their first single, “Stay In My Corner” b/w “Tomato Can,” on Saturday, 5/2 in honor of the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas. He told Rolling Stone the songs were inspired by boxing, but I think the buried lede here is that the Auerbach himself often spars before shows! I knew he was a boxer, but that’s some next-level stage preparation. The cover art (it’s boxing-inspired) for his initial 7″ release is above, but he also promises an “extra weird” solo album is on the way. Auerbach has released one other solo album, 2009’s Keep It Hid."

Pre-order for their first full-length album up now (release date September 4th.) First 500 copies are signed.

I'm really looking forward to this album, the single was very promising.
I might've ordered within five minutes of the pre-order email going out so I'm also looking forward to a signed copy.

Ugh. The one time I did not have to work on a Tuesday. I slept late and didn't order till 11:30. Here's to hoping I can still get one. It still said signed vinyl... but who knows.

True. They have less Facebook followers then I had expected. And this isn't posted on every vinyl forum yet. Is there somewhere to get the outta my mind single without the bundle?

Do y'all mind me asking what the end of your order number was. Mine was 544 a bunch of zeros and then 19. I was wondering if that meant I was order 19 so I had a signed one. I ordered before 8:30. I don't think they would sell out quickly either since it wasn't widely known. But this might be a way for us to know for sure.

I emailed them, they said that mine is signed and that was only a couple of hours ago. I think as long as it says "signed vinyl" package you'll be fine.
