What an amazing night. Still recovering. I don't normally stay up that late. Front row at a Foo Fighters show is alright.

3 hours plus the documentary. Was neat to see an Arena Band at the Ryman. The night after Devils Night. Made for quite the fun 48 hours of rocking out.

Saw the Foo Fighters at the Paradiso in '95 which was awesome but haven't seen them since.
Pretty sure they still rock, right?
Here's some footage from the show + interviews... for old times sake.

I'd like to sleep 100 days, my feeling has gone, flesh cold and numb.

Yep, they rocked out .... Hard ! For 3 hours. Dave said he has fallen in love with Nashville and that they would be back but would play a larger arena. Which made the crowd moan. I still don't think he realizes the show was so popular because it was in a small venue. A famous small venue ranked in the top ten places in the country to see a show ...

True. I am insanely jealous of all who got to attend, and pissed that scalpers fucked me and many others out of tickets just to leave their seats empty. However, I will not settle for seeing them at Bridgestone. I didn't even buy tickets for Jack at Bridgestone. I just don't see the point of arena shows. PS - I am happy that some of you swirlers had the opportunity to make it to the show!

I would have never got in if I did not win the tickets for a year. Tried like hell to buy one ticket for my wife with no luck. Me and my son went.
I hate Bridgestone. With a passion. I wish like hell Jack would have done a few nights at the Ryman. Oh well, oh well....
Me and my son went and gave blood to make sure we got in for Devils Night.
I will never see the Foo's again, I'm not going to Bridgestone for them .... I'm making an exception for Jack. I plan on camping on the sidewalk with GA Tickets.
I'm told old for that shit !!!

Wish everyone could have got a ticket for both !!! !!! !!!

I haven't watched the Nashville episode yet. I will be tonight though...

I am listening to the song from it right now. I REALLY dig it. Much better than the DC song, I think. I am not sure if I like it as much as the Chicago song yet. I think I do...Once I watch the episode, I will like the song a ton more, knowing everything behind it.

Anyways...a few spoilers in the song, which I am really ok with :D

I know Jack has a nice place and a nice studio at home, from what Ive heard and read but the studio Dave landed in was a pretty damn nice one. There are a bunch of really nice ones in Nashville and Franklin. I was hoping for The Castle Studios in Franklin to make the movie.

Plus, Jack may have preferred it that way. I don't know if power pop is His thing, kind of doubt it.

The Foo's music is certainly evolving though. Very neat documentary and neat way to create an album.

I thank you for trying to help me get a ticket for my wife :) There at the last minute. I Should have got up with you quicker on that. Maybe your not an asshole after all ...

I just got done the episode....my favourite so far! I knew I would like the song a lot more once I knew more meanings behind the lyrics. I have never really been a fan of country. 99% of modern country I can't stand to be honest but I've got a huge respect for some of that old stuff, so it was really cool to see a bit of the history of Nashville.
