really?

I'd say start with Keep on your mean Side->black rooster Ep->No Wow -> Midnight Boom.
In other words, the order of their releases is the way i'd go about it. It's really nice to see their progression from the getgo to now.

I gave in and am listening to the snippets of the album. I'm really intrigued. i really can't f'n wait to hear Future Starts Slow in its entirety.

the only reason why I say it is to hook you right away without effort then head back to a more raw sound is all ;)

I'd start with these 2 videos haha:

Well when I first started actually getting into The Kills I started with Midnight Boom because I was more familiar with the songs on that album. Very catchy and addictive. Then I started dabbling in the other two albums listening to them at the same time. I think either way is a good way, but Alison said in an interview once that you should start with the first one ;)

I listened to The Last Goodbye snippet because I couldnt take it anymore haha. It sounds so beautiful...I am so tempted to listen to the other ones...its so hard

In other words - listen to them in order or reverse order, or however - and they will still sound good? lol

I just borrowed midnight boom from a friend, so the Hawke way it is!

Thanks!

If you missed the live streaming of The Kills performance tonight it is supposed to be up tomorrow. I will be checking for it and will post links here.

They played Heart Is A Beating Drum, Future Starts Slow, DNA, Pots and Pans, Satellite, Baby Says, You Dont Own The Road and Kissy Kissy. The stream cut off early, but I am almost positive that only older songs were played after. There was also an interview before the performance which should also be up tomorrow.

All the songs live of course beat out the recordings. DNA and Satellite were amazing live especially DNA. They have also brought out some new instruments which Alison plays (keyboard and some drums).

I cannot wait for this album any longer or the show! Its going to be very good :D
