Missed on the color front again... Crap. That sucks about the seem split as well - had that problem at the local shop with a few different Goner releases...

Maybe you can buy the extra that has the sleeve split. Then put the variant record in your non split sleeve? HUH???

The tricky thing with buying colored vinyl is that if you contact the seller they are most likely sold out. I wish I could just have them send me a new jacket, but it seems like that is never possible. In the past I've been given standard black vinyl as a replacement though, and have just used that jacket. I'm not sure what I want to do though. I don't need a fourth copy.. (I already have a black and 2 colors). It would just be nice to have a good jacket for the color in case I was to sell/trade.. #vinyldilemmas

Had the same dilemma with my clear Ty Segall Band records from Castle Face.
Ordered two clear variants, one record was destroyed and one sleeve was obliterated.
They sent me one clear and one standard as replacement so I've got an additional black record just sitting about.

the bane of my existence they are - between the shipping rates and the backups at major pressing plants I don't know what's killing the indie music market more... If I had a dollar for ever snarky note I got with a crappy apology and a shattered record/tape I'd be living in a mansion haha!

Check your email or go to social media sites of Goner's on how to buy the colored Ty Rex LP if any one hasn't gotten one yet. I'm trying to ask on Facebook if there is any difference but no response yet... kinda doubt it though.
