Kanye may be a total egotistical douchebag, but he puts down some seriously solid stuff. Was hooked from the second I heard 'Through the Wire'. I wish he had stayed with his more positive message from Dropout, cause he kinda turned into that guy he was against on that album, but his stuff is all good. 808's was hard to get into at first, but after a few listens I came around (not his best, but good nonetheless). Fantasy was pretty damn good, haven't heard Watch The Throne, but I could barely make it through the first track of Yeezus... Seriously, its like a disjointed cacophony of horrible samples and loops just thrown together by a cracked out 5 year old... Lyrically though, he still has some poignant lines, even through the overly present and unnecessary vulgarity...

He seems to be far better lately as a collaborator and producer for others than he is on his own stuff, all the G.O.O.D. Fridays tracks were pretty awesome.

those are probably the kanye tracks that get the most playtime from me. graduation probably was his best work in my opinion, well as far as it get the least amount of skips in the album compared to the others.

If his performance at this year's Governors Ball is any kind of preview, it'll be a classically huge Kanye West live affair.
