Re: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
I've got a copy of Paper Mâché Dream Balloon for trade if anyone is interested. Played once. Looking for new music.

My parents will be visiting LA from Aus this Sunday, finally going to be receiving all of my Flightless preorders from the past year. Hopefully Nonagon can make it up to Sydney from Melbourne in the next two days... (My copy shipped so I'm assuming the gamma rays should be all be posted!)

Well looks like I'm no longer in any rush to receive my Flightless copy. ATO sent Permanent Records a test pressing of the new LP to raffle off at their listening party last night and I won!
Apparently they'll be having a signing with the band at their new Echo Park store so I'm going to try and have them sign a generic jacket to house the record in.

Re: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
Do I go to the local who's got copies in, or do I wait for the tri-color?
How long do they generally take to make it from AUS to US doorsteps?

It's probably going to take a couple weeks to get your AU copy. I'd pick one up from your local shop. It rips.chaptertwentyone wrote:Do I go to the local who's got copies in, or do I wait for the tri-color?

Re: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
Sad to say not even my copy arrived in Aus yet so I ordered an emu egg to my U.S. address. I imagine that will take even longer to arrive now that the band's on tour...

Got my Red Death variant from JB Hi Fi Today. Shipped on 4/20, pretty quick from Australia to NYC.

I passed on all variants, for now, aside from the tri-color.
It was just getting too expansive.
Anyhow, enjoy.

Just came home to my tri-color variant waiting for me!
I'll open it shortly and spin it most likely tomorrow morning.

Re: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
One and a half spins through and I've got to say the hype did not disappoint.
It's an interesting listening experience and there are some killer tracks on this thing.
Outside of the singles, I'm really digging "Mr. Beat".

Re: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
It's too soon for me to really have THAT much to say about the album outside of what I've previously stated, but what are your thoughts on it?
