Called mine. They haven't gotten there's yet but said will most likely get some red copies and they will try and hold one for me. I just hope they are some way marked as color or my store knows which are which so they can help me out.

Yeah was wondering this myself - my local shop may be able to help me out but if they don't have a sticker or anything don't know how they would know short of opening it?

They opened the first copy to put on display. I bought that copy to guarantee I got red. They opened the next copy etc

It may also be mentioned on their invoice.

Cool. Will have to see if I can talk 'em into splitting a couple of these suckers open then! Thanks for the heads up on this, hoping I can score one of these before sh*t starts getting crazy

^ likewise haha, it'll be a huge relief if I receive red with my mail order. Permanent doesn't seem to think Drag City is sending them any red so maybe there is a way of knowing if you're the one manning a record store.
