Swirlie, why you break so much?
Does anyone else besides me have frequent issues with the site timing out and not loading? Seems to happen mostly mid-afternoon.

YES.
That and the flood of "topic reply notifications" which I have already unsubscribed from or never subscribed to in the first place are my biggest swirl issues.

Yeah, always makes me think something huge has happened. When normally it hasn't.

Think of all the work you got done today because it was down......

Well, I discussed the issue with our host and it appears that we have too much traffic for a shared server so we're going to have to transfer to a private server, It's going to cost quite a bit more I think but I'm not really sure what that means at this point...

Dude, the record collecting business is exploding, TMR is exploding, now The Swirl is exploding. Time to take up donations or sell some advertising. Keep this place running smooth and keep it going strong ! Lets us try to give you the money before you make us look at any banner ads.
Congratulations!
Congratulations!

Re: Swirlie, why you break so much?
Ian help!
Not exactly a swirly breakdown but just something really, really annoying....
Every time I login and click "view new post" I only seem to be getting posts from the "other bands" and "independent record labels" section.
Surely this can't be right?
