Speaking of "view new post", would it be possible to have the "view new post" link on every page on the forum and not just the "board index" page. Not a big deal, but it kind of gets annoying having to go back to the board index every time in order to view new post.

we now have a "view unread topics" option which I think will be more useful.... and it's still just on the index page, sorry.

Maybe I'm going crazy - but there used to be a "view my posts" link right? Just my opinion, but that was useful (and maybe it still exists... and I am blind)...

I deleted it from the header and replaced it with "View new posts" which I thought was more useful.. I don't know anymore.. I thought View Unread posts would be useful too but apparently not...

I have the view unread posts as a direct link and is the only button I use to access the site. Great feature.

I totally agree - if I had to chose one, it would be "view new posts". A view my posts would be useful too - but it's still available with an extra click.
