It would be good if the for sale area worked more like the small adverts section
of a newspaper.
Only sellers can post and reply in their thread.
Potential buyers can pm / email for info.
Could also have a sales comments thread for the whole sale area
where all could post.

Awesome idea Kaber. Its the only reason I do a new thread each month. Typically they fill up with all sorts of junk outside the true topic so I do it to keep it clean. This would avoid that and become each seller's little spot. But I guess that goes against the store concept, which I am worried about tax implications and many other things related too.

Hey, even if the mod's cant do this for everyone, can we hand select a person or two that we could stop from critiquing on everyone stuff for sale?

Not sure if it's possible with this board layout, but on Taperssection.com members are allowed to lock and unlock the threads they start in what is called the Marketplace section which amounts to the Yard Sale, Ebay, and Dealer sections. The original poster posts, locks the thread, and people can see it but not respond. When the original poster want to update it or bump it, they and the mods are the only ones who can unlock the thread and add/change it.

I like it. That's clean and simple.
