I Want/Need Better Dead Weather cover art.
I am so excited for the new LP...but the cover looks like they just took a picture from a SNL commercial break segment. To me it is no where near as nice as the last two albums art.

I have this weird feeling that since they are pushing so hard to get the Detroit store open for Black Friday, that there could be a one off Dead Weather show that day at the new shop to celebrate the grand opening and new album. Might just be wishful thinking (probably) but I've had other crazy ideas come true....

American Epic is pretty much in the can, maybe needs some editing unless I missed something all the segments have been taped already.

He'll probably be involved in promotion of it to some degree. I would guess that a lot of this time these days might be taken up with designing and planning for the new store in Detroit. How many times has he said that designing the space at Third Man in Nashville was one of his favorite things? Even if the new store is going to have a similar appearance, he's sure to be obsessing over details as much as he can.

I should take a drive over there and see what I can find in their trash cans......

Not me. Jack isn't playing live in any configuration right now.
