I'm scared to even take it out of the poster tube incase I damage it. I haven't even looked at it yet..

Take her out and have a gander, posters look nicer outside of the tube. You won't damage it if you treat it gently. Very nice of you to pick one up for a fellow member!

You must get it out if that tube. Take a piece if tissue paper and lay it on top of the print. After that fold it length wise into itself like an accordion. This will protect the print and prevent any damage to the print until you are ready to mail it.
