New print with Flaming Lips

Post by icdvet »

This is up on feebay:
[ebay]380255030743[/ebay]
Any more info on who did this print?
And beware, the shipping on this is $45 which is outrageous and simply a way for the seller to avoid eBay fees
Dear NSA, I hope that you enjoy this post.

Cool looking poster. At first glance I thought the guy was about to be impaled by that spear/javelin. Must be the dead weather poster effect.

I agree its a lovely print but the seller is a jerk for those exorbitant shipping fees - he is doing this on about 40 auctions. I keep clicking on interesting auctions and then get annoyed when I realize they are from him so I ended up filing an eBay report. Why doesn't he just sell them for the price he wants with Buy-it-now?

It's all about profit margin. Seller fees increase as the final sale value increase. He thinks that the penny prices with the crazy shipping are the current market price points. To get the same profit margin charging a penny and $40 shipping he would have to have a buy it now of around $55 (guesstimate). Forty is cheaper than fifty five so everyone wins. I bet all the auctions get pulled because he even says that is what he is doing in the auction description.
