i was tempted, but i think imma wait for the official release. i already heard enough of the live versions and will just feel like i'm spoiling it for myself if i listen to the stream. Besides, its 230am and i dont feel like listening to a low quality stream in front of my cpu. need the warmth of the vinyl man.

i'll be expecting reviews from ya though...

Anyone been to one of the listening parties yet?
If so, was it worth it? Were there tri-colors strewn liberally across the tables, Jones test prints at 5 bucks a piece and Jack's toenail clippings in bowls?
Or was it just a skanky bar with a sound system?

I listened to the preview yesterday and I wasn't blown away, but I did like a few of the songs that I hadn't heard yet. NME doesn't hold much clout for me though, they feel like a tabloid sometimes. At this point the bar seems so high anyway, like, this is not the white stripes that's for shit sure. I'm still unsure, but still willing to give it a shot. I want to hear the vinyl on my home system. Swank said pre-orders were shipping today yesterday on the vault during that duo-coloured LP question giveaway. And god dammit I knew the answer to that question.
