after hearing someone crack theirs open and ruining both the 12" and 7"...thats ok, I dont need to hear it that bad

jesus just crack it open its a record its meant to be played. Use an xacto knife and slice it open.

so maybe someone could shed some definitive light on this for me. Once you open the 12" thats it right? never to be closed again and listened to as a 12" single?

wrong. unless you break it. do it carefully and you can still play it. and if you really wanted I guess you could seal it back up with more glue, but thats not really necessary.

If you want, there is audio of this on youtube. A few people are on there with video of them playing their opened triple decker 7". No need to open such a rare record.
