I'm about done with my dissertation. I can't really share the topic as I plan to make money off of the concept. I already have some investors lined up. A general statement would be that its IT related around a innovative cloud based service offering. I'm hoping to be done within a year with everything I have left.

I was just yanking your chain (I could have made that more clear using added pestering). It's academic malfeasance to pester the grad students on the status of their research and time to finish.

In that case, I'll tell you what I told my boss at work one day after he asked me for the 10th time in a few months...
I'll be done when I feel like being done. Last time I check the company isn't paying for my education, if they would like to, then they can care about when I'm done.

I'm entering my third year in Grad School. I'm finally done with all my course requirements and am actually preparing for my pre-doc exam.
However, it might take me another 2.5 to 3 years to finally graduate. And since I'm stuying toxicology my thesis topic is related to the
toxicity of a class of hazardous substances and their potential use in treating a class of diseases.
