Agreed I will have to listen to it myself. I was really shocked on how tame Horehound sounded when I first listened to it after seeing the band live twice. I really was not a fan of the studio album but thought they were great live. It will be interesting to see how I feel about Sea of Cowards and not sure if I will get to see them live during this tour or not.

I've read sketchy reviews from Mojo before...

I do take into account album reviews by magazines and websites, but not usually till after I've spent a week or two absorbing said album. :geek:

I wouldn't give an speculation. So far what i've heard are killer tracks i'm going to listen to the album about 15 times before I say anything. Can't wait to hear "I can't hear you" what a track!

If everyone takes a look at The Dead Weather news at the Vault, it looks like they are really doing a great job promoting this album :D

Fuck, I want to fly to Nashville Sunday night.
"…And for those of you that want a really good spot how does 4 ft from the stage sound? A limited number of spaces are being reserved for you Vault members… so stay tuned and watch this space for information on how you could watch this show live right here at TMR HQ here in Nashville.
This will be fun. We promise."

I wonder how the tickets to get in will be sorted out. I was going to go apply for jobs today...but maybe I'll wait until Tuesday, just to make sure I don't have to work.

You guys think that the performance might released as a Black/Blue?

Definitely.. Now that they have a "recording booth", why wouldn't they use it?

No doubt, and like all other event at TMR, I won't make it. So hopefully we'll see the "standard Black" release that I can purchase from the website. But then again, do I need to own the same album in the same sequential tracklisting only live instead of studio?

Got my 4th email about this today - this time from The Kills mailing list.
Sometimes it would be nice to just get a tdw mail from tdw mailing list...

Tune into MySpace today at 3 pm PST/5 pm CST to view a live stream of the band performing their new album Sea of Cowards from front to back from Third Man Records. For those still stuck at work or perhaps in bed don't worry, the footage will be available to view for 24 hours.
