Right, so I know I'm not going crazy. I had played the LP first and then put on the single and I got shocked how loud it was. But I just thought I might have accidentally turned the volume button.

There is simply more room to make the grooves wider thus louder on a single.
On a LP they always have to balance, because grooves are closer together to fit all the music on.

I found this : "We pine for the night eternal and silence frsi the gavels of man".
It's with an international morse code, but two words mean nothing...

Someone over at the Little Room got this translation: WE PINE FOR THE NIGHT ETERNAL AND SILENCE FROM THE GAVELS OF MAN. Same as yours except for one word. Which words do you feel mean nothing?

"Pine" I didn't know what it mean (sorry I am french) and "frsi" it was sure, but I don't know how he found "from". Well, now I know the all sentence, thank you. :D

To pine for something is to wish for or miss something with sadness.

Also, the morse code on the spine translates to "morse code"
And the morse code on this button:
Image
is NOT "rehtneguneueht". That image is upside down. It just reads "the dead weather".

This is why I love LP from TMR. There is always something to discover.
The surprise when you open it, the morse code, the hidden track. What the next discovery ?!
