Consoler of the Lonely
Hands
Level
Old Enough
Top Yourself
You Don't Understand Me
Many Shades of Black
The Switch and the Spur
Intimate Secretary
Broken Boy Soldier
Blue Veins
Encore:
Salute Your Solution
Steady As She Goes
Carolina Drama
I'd be content with that in Michigan. My 2 "must hear live" songs are Blue Veins and Carolina Drama.
I only wanted to be good enough, but I'm not.

Yeah, that's accurate. Thanks for posting that up. I was too spastic about finally seeing Jack White play guitar live that I didn't take pictures or write down the setlist. But that's it, it's right.

How was Blue Veins at the Ryman? I was expecting something face-melting at TMR and while it was good, it my face didn't even start to get melty at all.

Why is everyone so ape for Blue Veins?

Because it's when the rest of the band lets Jack get all this out of his system..

that's the sort of stuff he did with the stripes and doesn't do with the Racs all that often except for in Blue Veins. It's awesome.

pretty good, but i think carolina drama was more memorable. and their first encore was salute your solution, which, i think, turned out to be a perfect choice and it really whipped the crowd back into a frenzy. but song i enjoyed the most was level. i just freaking love the extended version they play live.

Gotcha. I never liked the first album all that much and only got into the second one AFTER they had been to Detroit so I haven't seen them live yet.

It's a shame they didn't do You Don't Understand me at Third Man, especially if it'll be a vault package.
Although, if the Ryman was being pro shot, then maybe it'll be TMR 12"/Ryman DVD?

I love face melters, and wig splitters. Those are the best.

lol ~ many people do!! i am fine in the minority ;)

still, nothing beats being as close to a band as you are when you are up front at tmr, that totally made it for me.

Most of the face melting took place in Michigan!
