Why is this not a topic yet? Do we think their show last night is indicative of something more?

At least it didn't say dearly departedcobytate wrote:some more fine quality journalism from rolling stone:

that was the way that i first read it and did a double take. i read a lot of stuff on the internet that is intelligently written, it’s just kind of a shame that none of it has ever been from rolling stone.runofthemill wrote:At least it didn't say dearly departedcobytate wrote:some more fine quality journalism from rolling stone:

Played a tour just over 3 years ago. Comments have all been that they are busy with other projects, not broke up.frankb_2 wrote:For not playing together as long as they have, and seeing the comments some of them have made recently, I would consider them broken up.
safe bet that is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. even after two nights of jack here in austin, i’m very jealous of y’all that got to go last night!ellisintransit wrote:It was awesome to see Daru playing those tunes with them.
Sweet jeezly I would love to see that too!woodisgood wrote:Keeler is on tour playing with Afghan Whigs.
wasn't dean a live member of the racs???ellisintransit wrote:I definitely wouldn't have called that "The Raconteurs" without every member, but they were introduced as such. I thought it interesting when I saw Daru and not Patrick, yet they still called themselves The Raconteurs. Just to clarify, when Jack introduced the band during that portion, he only introduced Jack Lawrence and Brendan Benson as The Raconteurs. Daru and Dean were left out of the roll call, and that does make sense. It was awesome to see Daru playing those tunes with them.
He sure was. Both he and Mark Watrous have served as auxiliary members. It was nice having that extra Racs "member" there though.yolomanolo wrote:wasn't dean a live member of the racs???ellisintransit wrote:I definitely wouldn't have called that "The Raconteurs" without every member, but they were introduced as such.
