This is one of my favorite posters. There was a thread over in the LR where we found EVERY stamp that is featured on that poster.

This is how it ended up:

(we only needed help with finding one stamp. The very bottom center one, the horse stamp.)

That is some mad detective skills you guys got there. I like to spend time finding the original images used in Rob's posters, but I don't I could have pieced together that one.

Didnt Rob take all of our details, and said he'd send us out something as a reward for our work... but nothing ever came...
I wish I was purple, because I'm feeling blue. I'm not looking for love, but a good fuck'll do.

That's true, he did, but he also said it might a while before he'd have time. How long has it been anyway? Feels like ages.

Taro, are you still planning to print up some copies of that? I am still in if you are. More than happy to cover costs.

It took a long while and was a team effort. If you haven't seen the thread, it's called "New Buttons" over in the Racs general section on the LR. Some of the stamps chosen by Rob were pretty damn interesting.

Oh yeah....

Ummmm From what I last remember we were trying to find a couple of good pictures of some of the stamps, I think the idea was to print it real size so I had to get bigger images, I'll have a look...

Also would we have to ask rob about printing them?

I don't think you'll be able to use the faces of the band members since that is probably a copy-written image, and rob probably has some patent on that fancy Raconteurs "R".

Wouldn't hurt to ask Rob about it for sure, that would be a clever way to remind him about whatever he might send, if anything. If it was only a few copies for the folks interested I doubt it would be much of a problem, but you never know. I was thinking we would print up a slightly scaled down version, yes? We could always slightly alter the faces and Racs logo and claim fair use, a la Shepard Fairey. :P

Are there still stamps that we don't have quality pics of? Get it together Taro! ;)
