Are you aware of the National Screen Service numbers and associated Steve McQueen films for each of these posters?
I wasn't able to find the discussion on EB - yes, please send me the URL. Also, NSS nos.? Steve McQueen films? Please school me if you find the time. I'm assuming that any posters with the cowboys are part of this series(?)

It is under Rob Jones hidden items. It is an interesting read that points out a ton of hidden stuff in Rob's posters. 7thson, Sabotage and many others had a ball with it. Caution though most of our posts are our own theories I think we were onto something but will probably never know for sure.

Rob had pretty much told me the story behind most of the posters in the "cowboy" series while I saw him at flatstock. Too bad he overloaded my brain and I can't remember much of any of it.

I honest have no recollection and anything that I did remember I already posted on her or EB. Rob really likes to overwhelm you with information information about his work. After getting done talking to him I was like, "Damn, wish I would have written that down."

This thread is fantastic! Unfortunately, it looks as though it might be deleted in a couple of days (?) Shit. I have some reading to do. Thanks!

Do all of Mr. Jones' posters include hidden stories, or was this just for the Raconteurs?

I don't think that thread will be deleted, there was some conversation of that nature in the thread, but the conclusion was that it would not be deleted.

There is usually plenty to read into in Rob's work, much more than a passing glance reveals at least. The raconteurs cowboy series though, is arguably the most elaborate storyline to date. The concept is absolutely genuis in my opinion.
