Post by mkuborn »

Thread dedimacated to the double lp released with the second vault package. I am saying keep it clean may be my favorite track.

I guess I didn't need the TR in the title but whatever, stop yelling at me.

Blue Veins, bar none. This track really makes the whole package for me.

I'm really enjoying the album but don't think it truly captures a live performance. (Can't say that its possible.) Sometimes the guitars seem muted when I really want to be slapped in the face by it.

I like how they used Led Zeppelin and The Who themed lettering for the album title on the cover. Did anyone else notice that?

Keep it Clean is amazing. This gig was one of the first times they played it live.
I was front row center, with Colin Barrow.
I wish I was purple, because I'm feeling blue. I'm not looking for love, but a good fuck'll do.

I noticed that lettering too.
And the whole album is great to me. Nice to have a live album. I am particuarly happy about having Keep It Clean and Red Rooster on vinyl.
So after this and UGWNL, just DW need a live album.

I haven't opened my vault package yet. I'm saving it for Christmas day as a present to myself.
Can't wait cause I love the Raconteurs and I love live music and I love vinyl... All of my favorite things in one little package.

10" of the Live in LA from iTunes would be sweet!

Anyone get a package that WASN't dinged up? When will TMR figure out that you need to add a piece of cardboard to either side of the LP (like everyone else who sends records through the mail!) instead of dumping the thing in a box naked. My cover had scratches UNDERNEATH the cello which meant it also got roughed up at the plant before being wrapped - unbelievable?!? Hope the WS box set comes from Warner Brothers since they know how to package things. My WS christmas card came packaged better than the Live in London LP!

All the Canadian's I've seen had theirs perfect including mine and my little brothers. I think its a mail service thing. All my vault packages came perfect.

I havent received my package #2 yet but I can certainly say that a mailorder record label has to use better packaging solutions (then the one in #1) for their orders.
