I just got back from Target and I was too damn late. They only had U2's Joshua Tree for $15. I'm not big on U2. C'est la vie.

They had their vinyl on sale for up to 70% off in some cases.

Oh. My Target doesn't carry vinyl.

Does your Target normally carry vinyl?

I didn't think so but it was there.

Every Target I've been too had a selection of vinyl recently including -

U2 - Joshua Tree
Steve Miller Band - Greatest Hits
The Beatles - Let It Be, Revolver, Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here

I think that's all of them. Except for U2 they were all single slabs. I think it may have been a test of sorts to coincide with the new 180g repressings of the Beatles records. They were in an end cap in a cardboard stand up near some Beatles iPhone cases.

Were they in the CD section or by their record players?

On an end cap closer to the record players/headphones/etc.

My store didn't have them. :( Checked the entire electronics/media department. I was really hoping they did. I want a lot of those Beatles remasters.

1 out of the 4 Targets we went to today had their vinyl on clearance but all had them. Ours was on a shelf with other clearance stuff, not in the display, but there were only 2 copies of U2 and 1 Steve Miller left so they probably threw it away. We went ahead and grabbed the 2 U2 for 9 bucks each. The non clearance vinyl seemed to always be on an endcap around where the cd's and games meet in the back. I checked with the scanner and they were still full priced so we will just start checking back every few days and try to catch some. Thanks for the heads up!

I've got to find a Target carrying these. The Joshua Tree for $9 and the Let it Be remaster for $7 makes calling all the stores worth it if I can find one carrying them.

The Studio Ghibli comps from Mondo just went live http://www.mondotees.com/

Howl's Moving Castle is already sold out, but the Mononoke and Spirited Away versions are currently available.
