I would almost rather have one of the yellow ones than an artist edition. That being said I'm not in the market for a music player and really have no interest in Pono regardless.

I'm putting out a band called DEFY ME on my label, Rabid Wolf Records. We are/were doing CDs, but everybody seems to want their EP on vinyl (which is much, much more expensive). If I were to do a crowdfunding campaign for DEFY ME's EP, who would pledge? Crowdfunding would be just about the only way for me to get the funds needed to make it happen. Opinions?

I can't say who would and who wouldn't pledge, but if the music is good and the price tiers are good for "rewards", you'll have no problem reaching whatever goal you're setting.

I find Kickstarters for bands travel well if the music is good. Good luck.

I know that most of you don't know him, but my friend Brando's house was badly damaged by a fire a few days ago and he lost almost everything in the fire, including his three cats who were unable to be revived.His apartment was located above PJ's Lager House, a venue here in Detroit. To help out, anyone who shows me the receipt that they donated $20 or more to the campaign will get some great records and/or posters in return. The first 20 people who donate and show me the receipt will also get a copy of the 'Pathetic Sounds Of Detroit' LP, featuring the first appearance of THE ILL ITCHES on vinyl.
