And would anyone really trade a Cosmos for it? Or 3 rpm LP?

I think the amount folks would pay in cash is relative to the type of record folks might trade for it. There are two votes for the $500-$1000 range so it is quite possible someone would consider it.

If it didn't have a catalog #, no one would be chasing it. There are a lot fewer people who are trying to collect everything TMR puts out now. Personally I dont believe the votes for the $500+ range, probably just people trolling

i wouldn't spend more than the cost for a ticket to a high school football game.
i played "kashmir" my 9th grade year (and my last year in the band) and i don't need to relive those memories.

spoiler
it sounds just as bad as how you're imagining it right now.

On the flip side, anonymous voting provides freedom to be realistic with their desire to pay more to acquire a harder to find item without the risk of someone slighting them for their willingness to pay top dollar. It could go either way. I would think if someone was trolling they'd go to the $1000+ column, but that's just me.

The child in me wants to guffaw at someone asking for a HP HYFTH, Cosmos, 3RPM, etc. for one of the School Choir 45s. (If I had doubles of those Top TMRs, I still wouldn't trade one away for a SC 7".)

However, in my 35+ years of record collecting, I've seen waaaaaay crazier things, so much luck to whoever puts out that trade.

I've effectively curbed my completist attitude toward everything TMR, while many others have not. I'd pay no more than $175 for one of them—and I'd only want one, just to have an example.

Wouldn't trade my Cosmos for it. If I had a 3RPM I wouldn't trade that for it either. I wouldn't trade my HP HYFTH for all four of the HS records. Voted for the $200-500 range. The amount I'd be willing to pay would be on the lower end of that though. Count me as one of those who would be really interested to see what one brought on the open market.

An option at $500-$750 and $751-$1000 might breakdown better. There is a big difference between paying $550 for something or $950 for it. Its on ebay now, so we will know in less than 3 days.

What we on here will pay for something is much different than what some other people on eBay will pay. We have seen that with all the recent JW tris and the Lightning Bolt.... No this is not a Jack White release but it has his name and TMR tied to it.

We will see in a few days I guess..

I wouldn't pay $500+ for it, but I think some people on eBay might. All depends on how many times they mention JACK WHITE and THIRD MAN RECORDS and RARE in the description

I'll say it'll go to 500, at least.
Just my opinion though.

I would like to have one, I would not trade a rare old TMR release for it. I would pay $200 for one, just to have an example of what they are doing. Doesn't really excite me all that much. Now if they did one from Overton High School, the school I attended, that would add some neat factor to it.
