Here's an old saw: Dishonest/disingenuous eBay sellers.

I've learned a long time ago when getting ready to spend more than $50-70 on a used record on eBay and Discogs to ask questions FIRST.

Seller on eBay: strong VG+, just a few marks that don't make a sound, small area of sleeve rash side A.

Me: Can you let me know if the sleeve rash makes any sound during playback?

Seller responds: "The sleeve rash shouldn't produce any sound. I don't think I meant to say Strong VG+, I was probably vacillating between strong VG and VG+ because it's nice and glossy but with light surface marks and I'm pretty conservative so just on looks would probably say strong VG, but it played so well I gave it a VG+ (and forgot to take out the strong)."

Okay, so apparently you played it and it played well, but you can't tell me if the sleeve rash makes a sound or not? And this was a week ago—the listing still says strong VG+. But you mean strong VG? Big difference if you ask me.

For a $250 record. No thanks.

That ^^ scares the stuffing out of me as much as it grinds my gears.

People who find the need to aggressively yell and curse at me (really, really bad words btw) when my 11 year old daughter is standing right next to me.
Thought he was going to lash out at me but probably good he didn't
I stayed very polite which infuriated him even more.
Scared the living hell out of her, poor thing.

Walked into a tobacco/magazine/postcard shop which also has a separate post office counter (just for sending stuff)
Big line with people at the post office desk so I assumed they were all there to ship packages or letters since the other counter was empty.
I just needed some stamps which are being sold at the regular counter as well.
Scary guy just needed cigarettes and realized he was in the wrong line.
Not his fault, maybe it was his first time at the shop.
He yells at me so I explain why I went straight to the empty counter and didn't get in line.
Didn't get a chance to tell him to go first before he started to curse heavily.
