I think it was mentioned that someone voted for the 'beach ball' by mistake, so that made the swirly thang the winner.
The swirl was Greatly improved when a bit of white was added at the last minute to 'finish' up the design. Had it been like that at the start, it definately would have gotten my vote (for what that's worth)

Not that this matters because we are going for the tweaked option 2 for sure, but I have editted the poll so that you can change your vote in case you make a mistake or change your mind or just want to jump on whichever bandwagon is moving forward. 
I didn't notice that option previsouly. I changed mine since I originally voted for the beachball which I immediately regretted. 
I think one other person did the same thing so...
