Oh hell, then I was soooo close to it when I was there two summers ago, wandering around Campus Martius Park and the Guardian Building. Thanks for the location, Eric. And welcome to Swirl!

The Marche du Nain Rouge looks like a heckuva fun time that's also nicely symbolic of Detroit's attitude-- http://blog.visitdetroit.com/entry/detr ... rouge.html Definitely going on my list of things to do someday.

TMR Cass Corridor tweeted a link about the Wayne State University planetarium, which is right up the street from them and has public shows a couple Friday nights per month-- http://planetarium.wayne.edu/shows/index.php

If you're looking for a hotel NOT to stay in, I highly recommend the Roberts Riverwalk. If you're into dark, sketchy parking lots, people running around the lobby and halls at midnight, and broken locks on the doors, then it's the place for you.

Great night, after I drove to the place I stayed last time and got a room there.

I've got a bunch of things I've added to my own list, but an arcade bar isn't one of them. Would fowling do instead?

I have no idea what fowling is.
Mainly just looking for some more fun stuff to do with my wife while in Detroit.

Fowling is a combination of football and bowling that is more fun than I expected it to be-- http://fowlingwarehouse.com/index.html
