So turna out that the white stripes peel sessions didnt get pressed in time to make it to my record store.... They offered to overnight it for a hefty charge but the owners declined....
Thankfully my record store guy offered to give me a call when they come on officially later next week it seems

metallica is doing a free instore concert at 4pm at rasputin berkeley. rasputin also had 5-10 people in line at opening as amoeba across the street had 100+. we lined up 2 hours early and completely struck out. went across the street and got a couple items.

Went to support the local around 6:30 when I was off of work.
I actually ended up coming back with two releases from the list; the Joe Strummer 12" and the clear Blood Visions LP.
Along with a store shirt and a copy of Hunky Dory which I've been after for a few weeks now.
Overall, it was a good day.
Just wanted to do some casual shopping to support one of my favorite local stores.
