What do you want Re-Pressed
So in the last year a lot of BIG long out of print records have been repressed (Modest Mouse, Deja Entendu, GBMS...), so now I was wondering what you are patiently waiting for now?
The top of my list would probably The Killers "Hot Fuss" and (bring the HATE) Maroon 5's "Songs about Jane."
Would love to have both of those spinning at reasonable prices.
Let's hear what you want.

Interesting choice, never heard of them, but may have to check them out. If their LP is out of press, the second hand market doesn't seem too bad as it I found several copies for sale in the $20-30 price range.G-squared wrote:off the top of my head... Us3 - hand on the torch

Only pressed in the US in 93; looks like there is a German pressing from 2015. just checked a bio and this was the first blue note release to reach platinum status in the US.Stl_ben wrote:Interesting choice, never heard of them, but may have to check them out. yeah, it's not super expensive, so it doesn't fit with the "repress so it is affordable" idea. I guess I really want a sealed copy.
check it out, though. if you like jazz and/or hip hop you might like it. it might come across as a little dated, but it doesn't for me...
this is the cut most people remember

There is a song on it, "Cantaloop" which was a big hit when it was released.Stl_ben wrote:Interesting choice, never heard of them, but may have to check them out. I guess I'd pick: Beck's "Mutations"
What I really want is Spacehog's "Resident Alien" but that has never been released on vinyl to have a re-press, as far as I can tell.

What, you didn't spring for the Hot Topic exclusive repress with the T-Shirt a few years ago?Stl_ben wrote:So in the last year a lot of BIG long out of print records have been repressed (Modest Mouse, Deja Entendu, GBMS...), so now I was wondering what you are patiently waiting for now?

I do have the 7" box set, but would prefer the LP at some point.

Underoath - Define The Great Line
My favourite band growing up and their best album in my opinion. I ordered it on vinyl and shipped it to a friends house in the USA because I couldn't ship it to Canada...friend lost it in his move and I never ended up buying another one..they are now about $250-300 on the secondary market. Makes me so mad I have already paid for it and now need to pay 10 times the price to actually have a copy.

Re: What do you want Re-Pressed
Honestly, I don't want anything re-pressed until the pressing plants can catch up and it doesn't take an additional month or two to get new releases on vinyl. That being said, the list of things I'm actively looking for that re-pressings would definitely make it easier on my wallet are:
The Juliana Hatfield Three - Become What You Are
Garbage - Version 2.0
Cracker - S/T and Kerosene Hat
The Cranberries No Need To Argue would also be on the list, but I just found out its being re-pressed in July.
The records I'd love to see pressed for the first time are:
The Crow Soundtrack
Fiona Apple - Tidal and When The Pawn...
Mary's Danish - American Standard

Re: What do you want Re-Pressed
Every U2 album from Achtung Baby to How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
The Killers - Day & Age, Hot Fuss, and a version of Sam's Town that isn't a picture disc, which has been repressed
I missed out on that Cake box set so I'd personally love to have individual represses of those. Especially Fashion Nugget
