If they were complaining about all those things minutes after the show started, that could be because he was running late and it didn't start at 4 p.m. Apparently 20 million people streamed it.

So I would guess Tidal is doing pretty good with subscribers then.

Does the comments section from Tidal members posting on Twitter reflect on the "quality" of its membership . Lol.
9% of the post contains the F word or more ?

Not a good gauge, because one didn't need a subscription to view the live stream for that event.

Oh okay. So then the rush of people over ran the service maybe.

Tidal just got hit with a lawsuit regarding a claim of shorting royalty payments to artists, it's a class action suit:

Next-to-last paragraph in that article ^^ throws a grain of salt into it. Hopefully they'll continue to report on the case so we can find out what's really going on.

Tidal was also in the news over at NPR recently, though for different reasons-- http://www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2 ... bout-music The last paragraph there is interesting.

A lawsuit looking for class status has been filed against Tidal since the new Kanye album is no longer a Tidal exclusive.
I figure this one gets thrown out pretty quickly. But I'm no lawyer.

Apple in early talks to buy Tidal, exactly what Jay-Z was after all along.

If Apple buys it, I hope to hell they don't change it. I dunno about Apple Music, but I refuse to use iTunes anymore because it always tried to take over my damned computer.

If Apple buys Tidal, you can be sure they will do what they did with Beats Music or whatever it was called. Keep it for about a year until they port everyone over to Apple Music. I, for one, will definitely cancel my subscription at that point.

I sure as heck will, too, though I'll be very sad to do so because I really enjoy Tidal and very much appreciate the Vault price. But with everything I've read about Apple Music replacing original audio files on people's computers, I ain't putting it on my machine.
