Will do. Though it may take a day or two, as I'm planning to leave Joe's house and drive straight to Detroit.

Haven't had time since I got home to write down anything coherent about the morning I spent with Mr. Bussard, but wanted to post this here before I forget: It's podcasts of his weekly radio show, Country Classics, with songs from his collection-- http://feed.podcastmachine.com/podcasts/3969

He's also set up a store on his website for his cd compilations-- http://www.joesvintage78.com/new-products-1/ I picked up The Year of Jubilo at the release party for it (it's great), and have the two blues collections on the way.

Sorry if I'm turning this into the Joe Bussard thread, but it seems like an appropriate place to post this stuff.

Finally wrote about my morning with Joe-- http://kalidurga.blogspot.com/2015/12/j ... ssard.html

Still blows my mind that I went straight from his basement here in Maryland on Saturday up to the new TMR in Detroit on Sunday. What a weekend...

Came into a small haul, thanks to a pal who bought a batch of several thousand 78s and has been sorting through them the last two years. He decided to sell off a bunch so I snagged a few--

Ah, very nifty. The Wolf and Memphis Minnie discs made me salivate a little. And nice to find a fellow Hank fan.

Gonna have to look for Nathan Abshire on YouTube or something, that French accordian sounds intriguing.

Ah, I know that song, it's a good one. The guy I bought my recent stash of 78s from included it in a radio show he put together from his collection.
