Someone is playing Santa this year...

I received a standard brown 12" mailer today. I didn't recall buying any 12" vinyl recently (other than the Lazaretto roulettes, which I'm not expecting for awhile), but I buy a lot of stuff, so I just assumed I had forgotten about something.

This is what I found inside.

I googled the address for the hell of it. It's The Gold Dollar.

The package originated in Michigan (I checked out the tracking) on 12/1.

(Sorry for the crappy pics, the lighting in my house sucks).

For those who can't tell because the pics are so bad, it's a test press for the LFR and it's the Love is Blindness side.

The letter says:

"Hello,

In this season of giving I ask that you accept this gift of my appreciation and ask that you do one thing, simply pay it forward in any way you can this holiday season.

Thank you,

Anonymous"

I am at a complete loss for words right now.

That's awesome. That looks like half of the liquid filled TP right? Did those have the etching on the inside too?

If this is how they're running some of the roulette stuff that's cool as hell.

WOW!
Congratulations, man.
There really are some decent folks out there, especially we and in the Facebook group community.

I've had some ask if it could be from a friend or family member of mine. I do not believe so, because other than Swirl/Vault members, I don't know anyone who lives in Michigan. And while everyone in my life knows of my love for Jack/TMR/TWS, no one I know would spend that kind of money for a record or know the significance of "III" as it relates to Jack, or have any idea where/what the Gold Dollar was or its significance.

I would like to contact TMR to see if I could get any confirmation from them, but I'm not sure who I should contact there.

It is. It's the Love is Blindness side. I mistakenly thought it was both sides at first. It could be part of the roulette; I ordered two just after midnight when they went on sale and this was sent out that same day. I assumed the roulette part would come with the actual record, but honestly, who knows with TMR?

You could try emailing Cam. He handles the email for all the Vault questions. I was planning to go to TMR this weekend but I doubt anyone in the storefront would know (especially if it's Vault related - they seem to keep that separated).

I love when good things happen to good people.

This swirler gave me her plus one for the Cleveland show this year. I had never met her before and she didn't want anything in return.

So happy for you!

Awww, thanks so much! It was my pleasure to offer my plus one and I'm so glad it went to such a nice person as yourself!

I actually received one of these too yesterday - I was very surprised but also most grateful.

Thank you to whoever it may have been
