I'm sorry, all I heard was "record press". This is exciting news, man! Thanks for breaking it here!

I heard they were installing a sprinkler system for both TMR and the Mercedes place to stay in code. I like your version better!

Well, there's the photo services that's on the store page now as well as Jack talking about the upholstery business he wants to get started...lots of potential there.

I noticed that the garage was suspiciously absent of the many tools a garage would usually contain maybe I too amd wishfull thinking but it would certainly make a nice large room for shows and whatever else a jack might want to put in it. Very cool hope that is the case and that they are expanding :D

It won't be long before we're all reminiscing about how we liked the little store that was only open a few hours a week, and the intimate little venue, and . . .

But public restrooms, YEAH!!

Expanding TMR is nifty, but I'm more concerned with how the new convention center is going to affect the neighborhood. It's so wonderfully grungy now, I hope that having a bunch of businessmen and tourists running around a block over won't force the area to clean up.

Are you implying that I reside in a trash can on Sesame Street, or in a Manhattan apartment with an excessively neat, anal-retentive, highly allergic guy?

Why you would want any part of any city to remain dilapidated is what I can't understand. If someone has the opportunity to make their area of business more appealing and inviting to customers, why wouldn't that be a good thing?

I'm well aware that my opinion on this sort of thing tends to be in the minority, but here goes-- Because it can wipe out the character of a place, that's why. It's very difficult for city planners to balance growth with maintaining the character of an area, and more often than not, they'll homogenize the hell out a place in the process. I personally find that areas like the one where TMR is located are part of what make a city interesting. And any of the Nashville locals can correct me if I'm wrong, but my impression is that none of the businesses in that area (TMR, the art supply shop, restaurants, etc, etc) are hurting for customers.
