Looking forward to it! Split black and rose? Rose petal LP? Rose-shaped LP? The possibilities are at least several fold. Most of all, it will be fun to spin and hear.

This album makes me feel like "home". No joke. It reminds me so much of where I grew up and of my grandma especially. Loretta Lynn has always had that effect but Van Lear Rose, man. Van. Lear. Rose. That's the one.

Don't you love it when a song/album does that to you?

One of my favorite video jobs of all time was running the camera for the big screens at one of her concerts here in Owensboro (circa 2008, I believe). $100 for 3 hours work plus a fantastic vantage point for the show. They recently tore down that venue. Shame.

I hope that the run of limited vinyl is high,, ie 300+ and not 100,, this will be a high demand limited release and I hope I dont have to end up paying ebay prices

what would be awesome is if they accompany the release with a live show at TMR!! then id fly down and get the limited vinyl first hand

OR how about the limited release in portland,, then I could just drive there,, cmmooooon tmr!

It may be selfish, but now that I know I'm going to Mi-fest and the Racs in Sept, I can't help but think that the Van Lear Rose Ltd vinyl would make for a great RRS release that day! Bring it on!!!
