For those of you who have been to the RRS before, how early do you tend to arrive? The RRS is making a stop in Milwaukee and I really want to try and be early enough to have a shot at getting something good, but given that its on a Easter Sunday it will prevent me for getting there as early I was planning on. So what have your past experience been like and or what advice do you have for someone who is planning on visiting for the first time?

With only 5 tris per stop lately....if you aren't there 6+ hours early.....you are too late.

Yup. It all depends on how many crazies are in your city. Some will be worse than others.

I'm not opposed to showing up that early or even sooner but given that falls on both a weekend and on Easter doing so might prove to be difficult. Do you think that with it starting at noon (the 2nd earliest start time during this tour) vs 2-5pm would affect timing at all or is it rather consistent to be about 6hrs early regardless of the start time?

Well the RRS visit today was a success, ended up getting there 2 hours early and was the 7th person in line. Fortunately I was able to pick up both of the specials being The Haden Triplets on lavender and Rome Deluxe 2LP as well as a few other RRS odds and ends including that fun lightning bolt Iowa pin. Best of luck to the other swirlers on getting what you want as the tour continues.

Did anybody go to the Criminal Records Atlanta stop yesterday or the Seasick Records stop in Birmingham today? I was wanting to know what the special record was and about how many they had so I could prepare for Florence tomorrow.

Anyone got a copy of the most recent menu they could post? I've got a guy willing to go to Detroit tomorrow and I'm mainly interested in the RRS merch.

They don't give out menus anymore
They just have some laminated ones to look at on each stop
