Something about trying out Discogs as a storefront for these ltd releases?

Yeah, Ben was saying that the novelties store wouldn't work well when they had an extremely small number. They always oversold and had to refund and people were angry, so they were trying discogs for one off type sales. Most everything went within seconds.

Yes. Specifically for items that he has only one of. The experiment being driven by avoiding the hassle of selling more than you have when using the novelties site. Discogs has the ability to close sales after only one sells - although that was violated during one sale during the chat.

It was REALLY cool. Ben was taking requests...in fact, one of the prices was a suggestion.

He had also done it to quell the whining of someone in the Facebook group who proudly claimed to have emailed about not getting a timely heads up to the items going live and how it wasn’t fair to vault members and so on. Pathetic.

Parquet Courts ($160), Neil Young ($200 & $300?), Woods ($50) and Shabazz ($50?) test pressings.

Damn...It's the holiday refresh-a-thon all over again but only one copy of each item.

Yeah, plenty of those jokes were made in the chat. They were decent prices, but nothing I could pull the trigger on aside from the High Ball Stepper. Sigh, then again looking back having the Freedom at 21 flexi in my cart for $120 would’ve saved me nearly a decades worth of grief at this point. I just couldn’t justify it in these times.

Yeah, I hear you. When this first started I was purchasing some rare items from bands who were out of work to help them out during a tough time, but I didn't think things would go this long. Earlier this week we just laid off 200 people at work so I need to be a bit more strict on spending if I end up being next
