Both the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Mars Volta have released silver picture discs.

And the JSBX silver one sounds REALLY REALLY bad too. Looks cool, sounds horrible.

I recently watched UGWNL for the first time and was wondering the same thing. They looked like acetates, but I was wondering if it was a bootleg or an eventual TMR release ....

They look like masters, yet the way they handled them and talked about them made it seem like they were records. Masters would be a weird gift, but then again, its Jack White. If he wanted to press himself a copy of his own record, URP would ask "how fast"
