Yeah, the heater is much too far away to be effective.

Maybe that's the whole idea. Prolonged suffering.

It is an awesome cover, could be read in many ways, his hands are down but one of them holds a photo or magazine, the heater...plus it always hit me as one of few times selective colour worked in a very excellent way in a photograph.

It's also one of those things where you have to decide whether or not you're disturbed by it. Some people would automatically be and take offense to its treatment of suicide, others not so much. And still others could be very disturbed by what's depicted and yet still see the creative elements in it. That mixture of aesthetic and emotional response is what makes it really interesting, at least to me.

it started when i asked Jack if he would officially endorse Hillary. i was pretty much just joking around but he said something along the lines that he doesn't support the two party system. I said something about there being 4, actually 5 candidates still in the race and then he wrote that above (i think). also he said tell that to florida in 2000. and i ended with (again) this is the most consequential election ever and that the important thing to keep in mind is the SCOTUS (or something to that effect).

if i were on the ball, i would have reminded Jack that what really stopped Gore in 2000 were not the hanging chads, but third party candidate Ralph Nader taking a lot of hanging chadded votes from Gore... and not just in florida.

but, it's safe to say who jack doesn't support, that's for sure.

yeah, most of what i just posted was before what you had, i think, with the exception of me saying after about the importance of the direction of the supreme court based on who wins election.

it's not really important. it's obvious Jack agrees with all intelligent proper-thinking individuals that trump is a scumbag clown spawned by orangutans. i just was curious to see if he'd go so far as to say something supportive of Hillary.
