Well shit. My first entry didn't adhere completely to the rules. I'll still keep trying, just in case. That rule could mean multiple entries per city.

I met one of my best buddies out of all the folks I've met via Jack's music when she invited me to be her plus one for the Sea of Cowards show. We'd only talked a handful of times via the internet before then. So I firmly believe that inviting someone you barely know, or don't know at all, to be your plus one is a great way to make a new friend

The rules do not say you have to be from any certain city.

I think the city hastags is a hint on that they need the location of a place they show in that city.
And you need to answer with the right address + that cities hastag + plus a creative answer why you wanna go to Detroit. If I interpreted the rules rightly that is.

The confusing part regarding whether you're supposed to be in the city in question--" . .Tweeted your Reply underneath the Tweet using one of the provided hashtags, as applicable to the Contest Territory you are entering from." If it weren't for that, I'd have assumed it didn't matter where you were. Also, it now seems it isn't tied to the billboards but just the picture.

So, hasn't become any clearer since yesterday.

Also, do they stop accepting entries after they've given the answer, which they did after about 45 minutes today, I think?

Has anyone heard of anyone being notified of winning anything in this thing?

I have heard nothing at all. I'm a bit concerned about that bit in the official rules that says the sponsor can cancel the contest if there aren't enough entries meeting the criteria. I wonder what they'll do with all the signed records if that's the case. At this point I'd almost rather have the record than the trip. Not really enough time to get things arranged for travel.
